Reader question 1: Online women want only sex
I’ve been online dating for a couple of years now and, while I manage to go on many dates with many women, I have yet to find one that really floats my boat.

It seems that women just don’t want to get serious anymore; they just want to have fun. Online women want only sex; my theory has yet to be disproven.

What can I write in my profile that will pique the interest of women who are serious without turning away the women who might consider getting serious once they meet me?

I’m 37 and am ready to settle down and have children, but I don’t want to scare women off by writing that in my dating profile.

Dear Justin,

Finally! Men are complaining that women are starting to act like men and want hook-ups and casual flings.

While online dating is full of serial daters, there are also many serious-minded singles who couple up and get married at any age online. My best advice is to be specific and advertise who you are and the type of relationship you are looking for.

Be authentic.Women will find it refreshing if you say you are looking for marriage and children. This will keep the serial daters and casual women away from your profile and you will attract exactly what you want in a woman.

If you check off the box that says marriage and children, you won’t need to advertise it over and over again in the essay portion of your profile. Being specific really works.
