Dr. Ali Binazir is one of the smart guys who went to Harvard medical school and bloomed late in life when it came to dating and sex. And according to him, smart good-looking men all over the world are suffering the same excruciating fate.

So Dr. Binazir offers some sound advice to smart guys who want to get the girl (or more than one) and what he says for the most part is great. Unfortunately, in an effort to point out just how incredibly smart he is, Dr. Binazir managed to turn me off.

But nevertheless, I’m pretty sure the good-looking geeks will be very comfortably with this post.

Here is some of this smart guy’s advice for other smart guys who can’t date.

Make things happen

Instead of waiting around, waiting for a genius version of Megan Fox to drop from the sky, approach women and get yourselves those dates you so long for. Women aren’t just going to flock to you, so get a move on and approach them.

Have a spine

Not only should smart guys approach the women, they should prepare the entire date with confidence. Know the 5 Ws about what’s about to take place on this date and she will respect, and perhaps lust for, your initiative.

Embrace who you are

No matter how much of a geek you are, if you can accept yourself, women will accept you. Be proud of what you enjoy doing; but for the love of God, don’t spend the entire evening discussing Maxwell’s equations.

Don’t try to figure women out

Women are complex and each one is different, so don’t put all your effort into trying to figure out what it takes to impress them; the answer will be different for each one. Embrace the idea that there is no answer to this question.

Don’t try to buy women

While spending all your money to impress a woman might work temporarily, all it will really get you is an empty wallet and some fake romance. Pay for the first date, but don’t assume that if you wow her with trinkets that she’ll fall for you. She won’t.
