Laura Smith of Maine was charged with elevated aggravated assault and gross sexual assault after she burned and sodomized a 43-year-old drunken man at a party.

On November 28, 2009, 27-year-old Laura Smith thought it would be entertaining to pour boiling water on a drunken man’s back, break his ankle, kick him in the abdomen and shove a wooden dowel up his butt while he was unconscious.

When the victim awoke the next day, he had no idea how his injuries came to be and had no recollection of what took place the night before.

The victim then called 911 and was taken to the Eastern Maine Medical Center and then had to have emergency surgery to repair a perforate bowel. He is still in the hospital.

Laura Smith, meanwhile, claims that she and her neighbor were doing all these torturous things to wake the man.

Yeah, sure, I typically pour boiling water on people to rouse them, just before I shove a 2 x 4 up their ass and break their ankle.
