HBO knows how to keep sexy going on its network. After Sex and the City and Six Feet Under went ba-bye, the people over at HBO weren’t sure what they wanted to do. Then in walked a man who was hung like a horse. No, silly, not Tommy Lee. Thomas Jane.

Okay, so it wasn’t Thomas Jane and it didn’t happen that way at all. But someone, somewhere thought up a show called Hung and the title alone makes me feel that tingle.

But I digress, Hung, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m., is about a man who is down and out on his luck. He’s a public school teacher (and we all know how much they make) whose house burns down and he ends up so poor that he even begs his ex-wife (acid-dropper Anne Heche) for cash. Sounds like an ex-boyfriend of mine.

So after Ray Drecker (Jane) gets backed into a corner, he decides that he will use what God gave him (an unusually large member, when erect) to make some cash. And boy does he ever make money with this gig.

His former girlfriend Tanya (Jane Adams) ends up becoming his pimp, so to speak, and the two devise a plan to move beyond their dead-end lives. Oh yeah, prostitution is the way to go, I always say.

The show is funny and pretty profound, and yes, Ray has a huge penis, but I’m not sure when we’ll get to see it.
